Christian Edeh is an Accountant and Certified Microfinance Banker with over 13 years’ experience that spans commercial banking, microfinance banking, real estate, and public sector finance.

 

He started his banking career at Skye Bank as a marketer and later at Bayelsa  State Internal Revenue Services.  He joined Equator Microfinance Bank in 2010 and has been involved in every key success achieved by the Bank.

 

He was at various times, Head of Admin and Accounts where his responsibilities did not only cover proper record keeping and logistics management but also extended managing, optimizing, and motivating human capital for optimum performance.

Emakoji Blessing Ojoma – Head, Compliance & Recovery.

Emakoji Blessing joined Equator Microfinance Bank in 2009 as graduate trainee and one of the pioneer staff of the institution. Within this period, she has performed in various roles and developed competencies in most aspects of microfinance banking.

She was at various times Team Lead with responsibility for developing critical markets as well as Head of Marketing with responsibility for directing the entire business development objectives of the bank and providing leadership for the entire marketing team.

She is currently Head of Compliance and Recovery where she is saddled with the task of ensuring that the Bank’s operations are carried out in line with regulatory guidelines in addition to spearheading debt recovery.

Emakoji Blessing graduated with a Bachelors’s Degree in Educational Management from the University of Ilorin.  She has also attended many professional development training in microfinance banking and possess the Microfinance Certification by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.

Nwakaeze Ngozi Josephine – Head, Marketing.

Ngozi is in charge of marketing and business development.  She is an experienced marketing executive in a career spanning over 8 years. Before joining Equator Microfinance Bank, Ngozi had a brief stint in inventory management.

Her competencies are in the areas of sales, marketing, relationship management, and key accounts management.  She is a versatile professional with a background in Estate Management.

She graduated with a Higher National Diploma in Estate Management from the Federal Polytechnic Nekede.  Ngozi is also a certified microfinance banker having obtained the microfinance banking certification of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.  She is a member of the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria and Nigeria Institute of Management (Chartered).

Udogu Vivian Kelechi – Head, Operations.

Vivian is an accountant with over 8 years’ professional experience in microfinance banking.  She started her career in Equator Microfinance Bank as Cashier and rose through the rank to become Head, of Operations.

As Head, Operations Vivian ensures that core microfinance banking services of the mfb are carried out seamlessly to customer-satisfaction.  Before joining Equator MFB, Vivian was briefly at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) where she served as Assistant Registration Officer.

A team player, self-motivated individual, and goal-getter, Vivian graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Imo State University.

George Ayebanda Pott-Johnson – Head, Internal Control.

George is a graduate of business administration with varied experience in administration, logistics, and microfinance banking.

He has over 7 years’ experience in microfinance banking with competencies in credit assessment, loan remediation, compliance, and internal audit processes.  George is currently the Head of Internal Control and is responsible for ensuring that all processes are carried out in line with approved guidelines and that management reporting is as accurate and reliable as possible.

He attended the Adekunle Ajasin University, Ondo State, and graduated with a 2.1 bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.  George is also a member of the Nigeria Institute of Management (Chartered) and has attended training in credit administration, marketing, and relationship management.

Obuseri Frank – Head of Risk Management.

Frank is a computer professional with rich experience in providing IT services in the banking sector.  This experience cut across both commercial banking and microfinance banking sectors where he has held various IT roles.

He was at various times Head of IT at First Global Microfinance Bank, Oyo.  Prior to that period, he was assistant to the head of IT at one of GTBank’s branches where he also garnered some practical knowledge in fund transfer.

At Equator Microfinance Bank, Frank is Head of Risk Management/Credit Administration and previously has supervised the IT Management function.

Frank obtained the Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science from the Federal Polytechnic, Auchi and he is a member of the Computer Association of Nigeria (COAN).
